Tzatziki Sauce is originally from Greek or could be recognized as Persian cuisine. The first time I had this sauce was when I was working at a donair shop in downtown in Vancouver. I instantly liked this rich yet sourly flavor. It can go really well with many kinds of meat. This time I arranged it in Japanese way! But it also easily turns out not exactly the way you want. Especially when it comes to marinated meat with vegetables, it can end up either burn or soggy. This time I would like to show you “Yakiniku style” stir fried pork & vegetable. Soy sauce and miso based marinade cooked with lots of vegetables. Dessert recipes-Ume Shu Jelly


Ume shu also known as plum sake. It is now available all around the world. It’s rather sweet alcohol. As the name explains, it has fruity plum fragrance. It’s bit similar to ice wine. Since it has much concentrated flavor, I usually have it on the rocks or go with soda. This time, I would like to show you how to transfer this beverage into jelly! To set this liquid, I used kanten, better known as agar agar. You can enjoy tender yet light crispiness in this jelly texture. It can be served as the picture shown or serving in martini glasses would be also very entertaining!

Bento recipe-Kiri tanpo Style Omelet Rice


There’s one  local cuisine called “きりたんぽ/Kiritanpo” It’s originally from Akita prefecture. Stick some steamed rice around chop sticks and form into cylinder shape and bake them. I have actually shared this recipe before. This time, I would like to arrange this unique dish into more familiar style for these days! Using ketchup flavored rice instead of just plain rice and coating with cheese & egg mixture. It can turn into a cute dish rather than traditional dish! You can wrap it with fancy printed parchment paper and take them with you for bento~♪
