Pasta recipes-Super Quick & Easy!Tomato&Tuna Pasta


You want to eat pasta with tomato sauce but don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen? This may be a good way to make quick & delicious pasta! Using tomato juice, you can instantly make tasty tomato sauce!!

[ Ingredients ] *tsp=tea spoon tbs=table spoon
~ serves one ~
100g Spaghettis
1/4 Onion
2~3 cloves Garlic
1 stalk Basil
Salt & black pepper to taste
200~250ml Tomato juice
1/2 tbs Olive oil
2 tbs Ketchup
Some dashes Tabasco
3~4 stalks Green beans
70g Canned tuna
[ Directions ]

Finely chop onion.

2. Press garlic with the side of the knife.

3. Remove the skin.

4. Pour olive oil and put the garlic into a fry pan and then start heating over medium heat.

Garlic can burn easily when put into hot oil. Make sure to add oil and garlic “before” turn on the stove!

5. You can tilt the pan so that oil can gather in the corner. This way, even with a little oil, you can heat your garlic effectively.

Do not tilt too much! Otherwise the handle gets too hot or if the oil gets overheated, it can catch fire!

6. You can see the garlic gradually changes into golden brown and starts smelling good!

7. Add the chopped onion, keep stir frying until translucent.

8. On the other stove, you can start cooking pasta.

9. When the onion becomes translucent,  you can add tomato juice in the pan.

Tomato juice doesn’t contain any seasonings. It’s also suitable for tomato sauce! You don’t need to use blender or process you can directly add into the pan!

10. Add some basil and/or thyme.

11. Add salt, black pepper and Ketchup.

12. If you like to add a little kick to the flavor you can add some tabasco.

13. When you are about pull out pasta, you can blanch green beans or asparagus in the same pot

14. You can transfer the pasta into the pot and keep on cooking.

You may want to remove the pasta from the boiling water a few minutes earlier than recommended time and continue cooking in the pasta sauce. This way pasta can absorb lots of flavor while cooking!

15. If the sauce’s getting too thick, you can always add some pasta boiling water to adjust thickness.

16. Lastly, add canned tuna and blanched green vegetable.


Sprinkle some parmesan cheese as you serve!(˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
