Bento, Sandwich, Japanese dish-Yakisoba Sub Sandwich

Here’s one of popular Gakushoku dish’s recipe! Gakushoku is something similar to school cafeteria where students get to eat high volume of meal at low prices. This time I would like to share one of the cheapest snacks sold in Gakushoku which gives satisfaction to your hungry stomach! It’s called Yaki soba Pan. Yaki soba is already a complete dish. But it’s also suitable to turn into bento. Have your favorite bun and make it into sub sandwich~!

(˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و~MASA’s Cooking Tips~
You can add cabbage as well.

2-
4. Cut sliced pork into half.

2-
5. If you are making a sub sandwich, you should also have a bun ready.
You can cut into either half or like I did, cut into V shape so it can have a space to fill in.

2-
6. Heat up a fry pan, add 1/4 spoon of vegetable oil. Add cut vegetable, sir fry until carrot becomes soft on medium heat.

2-
7. Add sliced pork and stir fry until meat changes the color.

2-
8. Add salt & black pepper to taste.

2-
9. Remove from the pan or have another fry pan ready.
(˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و~MASA’s Cooking Tips~
To avoid over cook meat & vegetables, they should be cooked separately.

2-
10. Heat up the oiled fry pan, add yaki soba. Sear both sides on medium high heat.

2-
11. Add the meat & vegetables to the noodles.

2-
12. Add soy sauce & tonkatsu sauce, stir well to allow seasonings spread evenly.
Now you have Yaki soba ready!
(˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و~MASA’s Cooking Tips~
Instead of tonkatsu sauce, you can use steak sauce such as HP, AI.

2-
13. If you would like to make it sub, simply fill into the bun. You can squeeze some mayonnaise on top if you like.

You can also put some sliced cheese to make a hot sandwich! (˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
