Bento recipe-Kawai Rirakkuma Omelet Rice

NAMENAME

Here’s another super Kawaii Dish! This time, a little bear will be the main character in a bento box. There’s this popular animal character called “Rilakkuma” meaning..relaxing bear. You can find so many goods related to this character in Japan. Since this character is called this way, I decided to let him relax in my Bento box with an egg blanket!!

160g Steamed rice
2~3 tsp Ketchup
1 Egg
1/4 sheet Nori

(•̀ㅂ•́)وLeave a little bit of rice intact for bear’s tummy part. Ketchup is to add color so it turns into pinkish bear. You can adjust the amount depending on your preference.

2-
2. Mix well make sure the ketchup spreads evenly.

(•̀ㅂ•́)وTo make it look more like real bear, you can add soy sauce to make it brown ( which I will show you on later step.. )

2-
3. Let’s prepare bear eyes. Cut nori into a small rectangular shape. Fold in half to make square.

2-
4. You can use a thick straw ( like the one comes with Mac shake ) to press the nori so you can leave the mark as a guide.

2-
8. Here comes a mouth part. Fold nori into half.

2-
9. Trim off the corner diagonally. Maintain the same angle and snip.

2-
10. You should have a V-shape nori as shown.( the one in the middle)
