Rice recipe,Pizza recipe-Super Easy Two-way Rice Pizza


Pizza can be made with steamed rice. No need to mix with yeast and spend so much time for leaven. Just choose whatever the ingredients you want to use, simply mix with rice and raw eggs. Top with mozzarella cheese now you have tasteful rice pizza!

[ Ingredients ] *tsp=tea spoon tbs=table spoon
[ Tomato&Olive Rice Pizza ]
~ serves one ~
130g steamed rice
1 egg
3 mini tomatoes
2-3 pickled Olives
5 leaves basil
2 pinches mixed dried herb
2 tbs Parmesan cheese
30g Mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
[ Mentaiko Rice Pizza ]
~ serves one ~
130g steamed rice
1 egg
1 tbs Mentaiko
*can be replaced with Tobiko
1 sheet Nori
1/2 tbs green onion,chopped
2 tbs Parmesan cheese
30g Mozzarella cheese

[ Directions ]

1. Cut mini tomatoes into dice.

2. Cut olives as well.

3. Add steamed rice into a bowl and add the tomato and olive. Rip basil by hands and put into the bowl.

4. Sprinkle some mixed herbs.

5. Add an egg and mix well.

6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste.

Because parmesan also contents saltines, you may want to go easy on salt.

7. Mix well make sure all the ingredients get well blended.

8. Heat a non stick pan on low heat and add some olive oil.

9. Add the rice mixture in the pan.

10. Spread in round shape evenly with a spatula.

11. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top.

12. Cover the pot and continue cooking on low heat for about 5 minutes or so.

13. Here’s another flavor, I’m using Mentaiko. It’s pickled cod raw. Since it contents lots of salt,it’s suitable to go with rice.

it should be available at Japanese grocery store in frozen section. If you can’t find this, you can use Tobiko instead. It may be relatively easier to find..

14. Lay a sheet of tin foil and place Mentaiko. Cut a slit in the center. Use either back of knife or rubber spatula to scrape out the roe.
POINT-ENG

Because it’s covered with chili pepper powder, it’s very easy to mess up your cutting board. Using tinfoil, you can simply dump the sheet after processing.

15. The rest procedure is nearly the same. In a bowl, add steamed rice, Mentaiko and chopped green onion.

16. Rip nori into small pieces and add into it.

18. Add some Parmesan cheese and mix well.
POINT-ENG

Because Mentaiko itself contents saltiness, you do not need to add salt.

19. This time I’m using baking method. Lay a sheet of cooking paper on baking pan.

20. Add rice mixture on the paper and adjust shape and thickness. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top.

21. Put into the preheated oven(200 Celsius) and bake for 6-8 minutes until light golden brown.

You can either use a pan or an oven. They both can give results. See which method is convenient for you!
